Reseña de la Obra: "Romance"

No existe en la tradición occidental una palabra que despierte tanto la imaginación emotiva como la palabra romance. Se supone que respalda uno de los fenómenos humanos más hermosos como es el amor. Se supone que es el hecho más cercano a una experiencia divina en su sentido secular, mundano. Pero el romance, como todos lo sabemos, tiene su contraparte de dolor, un dolor que visto desde afuera y de una manera objetiva puede resultar ridículo. Una tradición popular sostiene que no hay manera de acercarse más a la estupidez o a la ingenuidad, que el estar enamorado, y esto por la total pérdida de la noción de realidad. Otra tradición, por el contrario, sostiene que el amor es la forma más elevada, difícil y por tanto feliz de la inteligencia.
